INTRODUCTION
This film was created as part of a project at my vocational school and has been evaluated. The choice of subject was open. I therefore decided to make a fiction short film that tells the story of a little girl who has a big dream. She shares a very strong bond with her grandmother, who is always by her side to support her and encourage her to believe in her dreams.
CONSTRAINTS AND CHALLENGES
I faced some difficulties because, before starting the film The Life of Edna, I was working on another project that I had been thinking about for a long time. However, there was a problem almost at the last minute. The actors I wanted for my short film were not available on the dates I suggested. So, the very same evening that I learned this, I had to come up with a new project and hurry to finish it, as time was running out.
WHAT THIS EXPERIENCE TAUGHT ME
This short film was very important to me, even though it wasn’t planned at first. I completed all the steps before filming: intention note, pitch, synopsis, screenplay, script, storyboard, etc. There were many laughs and sometimes the cold weather during the shoot, but in the end, I am proud of the result.
