INTRODUCTION
Every year, my company organizes the CFC ceremony. This year, I created the visual materials: the program flyer, a card for the trainers, photos of the apprentices for the journal, and a PowerPoint slide for the schools to display the names of the graduates. I was also present on the day of the ceremony to manage the visuals in the control room.
CONSTRAINTS AND CHALLENGES
Creating the flyer required several versions before approval. Checking the PowerPoints returned by the schools, including the lists, images, and typography, takes time, especially with last-minute submissions or changes.
WHAT THIS EXPERIENCE TAUGHT ME
This project allowed me to combine creativity with hands-on work, including design, photography, and presence in the control room. On site, I interact with the technicians responsible for the staging, which I particularly enjoy. For example, observing the stage manager guide the cameraman on framing is something I find very interesting.
